I always wanted to photograph the slot canyons of Page, Arizona and had the opportunity to do so with my photographer daughter Stacey in June, 2017. Our visit was timed so that we would be there at high noon when shafts of sunlight come streaming down the 120 foot cliff walls, revealing patterns in the dust kicked up by visitors and our tour guide. The angel took form in this dust and reminded me of an image taken by Peter Lik, a noted Australian photographer  who claims (disputed by some) to have sold the most expensive photographic print ever for $6.5 million. His picture was from the same location and is named "Phantom".  Google it and if you like mine better, I'll be glad to accept merely $5 million!
