My photographer daughter and I wandered through Montana, Idaho, Washington and Oregon with no specific plan.  Unencumbered by a schedule, we'd stop and take pictures for as long as we liked when lighting and subject material presented itself.  Glimpsing this horse and the dramatic sky from a distance, I drove about 20 miles out of our way to get a closer view.  We spent hours shooting pictures of this and other horses, each of us absorbed in the moment.  My definition of a great day.
